The Acting Chairman of Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Inyang Eyo says state government is committed to improving the face of basic education in the state.
The improved fee showed about 60 percent increase for an average student, as students are also expected to pay a total of N28,500 for other third-party payment.
The President of the Student Union Government (SUG), University of Calabar, has disclosed that the school has suspended the planned hike in fees till further notice.
